A blogsite is an effective way of communication because you can post to each other and comment on each other's postings. It saves trees because you are not using paper. You cannot lose your work because it is automatically saved online. Your work is easy to access, and you can access it anywhere such as mobile devices etc. Also you get much quicker feedback because your teacher can comment back at any time, and so can you whereas if you were working in a book then you have to wait until your lesson to get feedback.

Some of the safety issues when using blogsites if you put your personal details on are ….

* Being stalked - People could get details of where you live and come to your house

* Being cyberbullied - People could find out personal things about you and harass you.

* Fraud

* Identity theft- Somebody could steal you picture and pretend to be you.
This is because you are displaying your details to anyone on the internet. You can avoid these issues by changing your privacy settings to ---> “Private”

-You should never leave yourself logged on to your computer when your not on it.
-You should always put passwords onto your computer especially if its shared.
- Do not tell ANYONE your password
- Make sure you use a safe password so that nobody could guess it
